Our staff of medical experts takes great pride in providing personal and thorough one-on-one care to patients of all ages. We accept most insurance, including Tricare.
RVHC is owned by Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine (RVUCOM) and located on its campus in Parker. RVUCOM is an accredited osteopathic medical school that is dedicated to education of osteopathic physicians.
In 2011 and 2012, its medical students – 15 percent of which are officers from all four branches of the military – posted the highest scores in the United States on their standardized medical board exams.
Supervising physician Dr. Christopher Unrein, DO, president of the Colorado Society of Osteopathic Medicine, is on the faculty of Colorado’s only two medical schools: Rocky Vista University and the University of Colorado in Aurora. Dr. Unrein feels a sense of obligation to teach the next generation of physicians as others gave of themselves to him.
“It is important to share the ideals of the profession: That physicians are unique and specially educated to serve their patients as leaders of the health-care system,” he said. “The relationship we have with our patients is the reason that most of us became physicians in the first place. The physician patient relationship is supreme, and its sanctity must be preserved and held in highest regard.”
