We are excited to announce that we are now offering telehealth/telemedicine services to our patients.  In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are now offering telehealth visits for certain medical conditions with your physician. Having a “virtual” visit from the comfort of your home is the best way to provide the medical care you need and to keep you safe. Our physicians will do a visit via your smartphone, tablet, or computer and bill the visit to your medical insurance, just like a standard in-person visit to our office.

Our doctors are committed to providing the highest level of medical care while also keeping you and the public safe. Telehealth visits are available for certain medical conditions and our staff will evaluate your call and advise you if you are eligible for a telehealth visit.

Give us a call today. All we need is your name, your email address, and a brief description of the issue you’re experiencing to determine if you are a candidate for this service and we will get you scheduled immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What if I’m not a current patient of your practice?

If you have a medical emergency please call 911.  For all new patients, we will evaluate your call on an individual basis and review your current and past medical history and schedule you for a visit to our office to see one of our physicians.

  • How will I talk to the doctor during this visit?

A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera is required to complete this visit with our doctors. The visit is initiated via a secure link that is sent to the email address you provide. If you do not have access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer we suggest working with a friend or family member you may be with at this time.

  • What if I don’t have a smartphone?

If you do not have access to a phone or do not wish to have a telehealth visit, our team will discuss other options on a case by case basis and determine the correct course of action for your particular situation.

  • What if I am having technical difficulties during my telehealth visit?

If at any time there are any technical issues during your visit, your physician will contact you via telephone to complete your visit to ensure you receive the proper medical care.  If they are unable to reach you via the phone number we have on file, please feel free to contact our office at any time (720) 875-2880

  • Is this a secure method of providing medical care?

Yes, absolutely.  Rocky Vista Health Center utilizes the telehealth application, doxy. me.

*All data is encrypted, patient sessions are anonymous (we don't know who you are) and no patient info is stored persistently. We use the AES cipher with 128-bit keys to encrypt audio/video, and HMAC-SHA1 to verify data integrity.

  • Does my insurance company pay for this service?

Yes, most insurance plans will cover your telehealth visit after the 1135 waiver authority and Coronovarius Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act as of March 6, 2020.  Dependent on your specific insurance plan, you may be assessed a co-pay, co-insurance, or deductible.  Rocky Vista Health Center will submit all claims to your insurance company for processing and any remaining balance will be your responsibility.

  • Are you still offering in-office visits?

YES, absolutely. Our preferred method of treatment is always to see you in person so we can best assess the needs of your health status.  Telehealth visits are an alternative solution for our ill, elderly, and immunocompromised patients. Our specialty services for Osteopathic Manipulation and Podiatry remain open and are not available via telehealth.
